A Message for All Patrons -
As students head back to school during this time of COVID-19 restrictions, here are some rules to remember when visiting the library:
Masks must be worn by everyone inside the library with the exception of children 10 and under.
The library will not be available as a waiting spot for students after school. Also, children will not be able to spend the day at the library and cannot be unattended at the library at any time.
Children under 12 must be accompanied by a responsible party when entering the building. This is library policy.
Numbers of available computers have been reduced due to spacing restrictions, and soft-cushioned furniture is not available at this time.
We are encouraging everyone to use the library in a “grab-and-go” style, and therefore limiting stays to 1-hour maximums.
The Glenn A. Jones M.D. Memorial Library is actively monitoring the developments of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). The safety and well-being of our community is a top priority.
Thank you, and we look forward to helping you get your school year off to a great start!
To stay informed with the latest news from the library, please follow us on Instagram, Facebook, and our website. We are taking the necessary precautions to keep our patrons safe and we appreciate your cooperation!
The library is open to the public! Curbside is also available. Give us a call at (970) 587-2459. No appointment needed. All items returned are quarantined for 72 hours.
Check out Lynda.com and Mango Language.
We encourage our patrons to use our online resources while libraries are inaccessible. We’ve raised the number of Hoopla checkouts, and many Kanopy items, including those for children, are available for checkout without counting against your limit – click here to view our Stream and Download page.
Patrons are welcome to place holds on items, and they will be available for curbside pickup or just walk in!
Our primary goal at the Glenn A. Jones, M.D. Memorial Library is to provide friendly, professional, above-and-beyond service to everyone who comes through our doors. We want every interaction with you, our patron, to be a positive one!
We are a small-town library with big-city amenities. That means you'll have access to a wide array of materials, from books and magazines to databases and ebooks, and at the same time, we'll probably know your name when you walk through the front door.
We love our patrons and want you to feel at home here. Please come and visit us, we'll be happy to make you part of our library family.
